Whiplash prevention test

These documents reflect updates to the whiplash prevention test protocols made since the publication in December 2025. These updates have been made to address feedback from industry, correct errors, provide new pulses and targets derived from IIHS’s new sled, and include additional approved FE ATD models. These documents are being provided in draft for the month of June to allow industry to provide feedback before they are finalized in July.
