Small overlap front: driver-side
Rating applies to 2021-23 models
Tested vehicle: 2019 Volvo S60 T6 4-door 4wd
The Volvo S60 was redesigned for the 2019 model year and a plug-in hybrid electric variant was introduced as well as two new wagons, the Volvo V60 and V60 Cross Country. The Volvo V60 plug-in hybrid electric variant of the V60 wagon was introduced in the 2020 model year. Beginning with 2021 models, the plug-in hybrid electric variants of the S60 sedan and V60 wagon became known as the S60 Recharge and V60 Recharge. Driver-side small overlap frontal ratings are assigned by the Institute based on a test conducted by Volvo as part of frontal crash test verification.
