Dummy movement was reasonably well controlled. After moving forward into the airbag, the dummy's head moved to the left, sliding off the airbag toward the driver door as the steering wheel moved upward.

Action shot taken during the frontal offset crash test.

Post-crash test shot.

The position of the steering wheel after the offset test shows the excessive vertical movement that occurred during the impact.
