Moderate overlap front: original test

Rating applies to 2017-20 models

Tested vehicle: 2017 Honda Fit LX wagon

The Honda Fit was redesigned for the 2015 model year. (The 2014 model year was skipped except for a limited number of plug-in battery-electric variants.) Beginning with the 2017 model year, changes were made to the structure, driver airbag, and steering column. Moderate overlap frontal ratings are assigned by the Institute based on a test of a 2017 Fit conducted by Honda as part of frontal crash test verification.
