Good Good Acceptable Acceptable Marginal Marginal Poor Poor

Vehicles are listed in order of performance in crash tests. Frontal crashes receive the highest weight, followed by side and rollover, and then rear crashes. Among vehicles with similar crash test results, vehicles are listed in alphabetical order. Frontal and rear crash ratings should be compared only among vehicles of similar weight while side impact and rollover crash test ratings can be compared across vehicle type and weight categories. Except where noted, vehicle models rated below have a standard complement of side airbags, generally consisting of front and rear curtain airbags to protect the head and front seat-mounted airbags to protect the torso. Electronic stability control (ESC) is a federal requirement for all vehicles starting with the 2012 model year.
