OVERALL BUMPER EVALUATION:

OVERALL WEIGHTED AVERAGE DAMAGE: $2,015
TEST DETAILS: During the front full-overlap test, the Honda Civic bumper system underrode the barrier, resulting in damage to the cover, energy absorber, reinforcement, grille, radiator support, hood, both fenders, both headlamps, sidemember ends and air conditioning condenser. Additionally, the top tank of the radiator was cracked and the upper radiator hose was kinked, making this vehicle inoperable. During the rear full-overlap test, the bumper engaged the barrier, resulting in cover, energy absorber and reinforcement damage. Additionally, the rear body panel was slightly imprinted by the reinforcement. During the front corner test, there was no bumper/barrier lateral engagement, resulting in the cover being torn and cracking of the headlamp mounting tabs. During the rear corner test, the bumper engaged the barrier, damaging the cover, energy absorber, reinforcement and slightly buckling the rear body panel.
