Subaru Impreza

2008 - 2009 models

OVERALL BUMPER EVALUATION: Poor

OVERALL WEIGHTED AVERAGE DAMAGE: $1,435

TEST DETAILS: During the front full-overlap test, the Subaru Impreza bumper system fully engaged the barrier; however in addition to cover and reinforcement damage, the grille was cracked, both headlamps were damaged and the upper radiator support was spread outboard. During the rear full-overlap test, the bumper engaged the barrier, limiting damage to the bumper system (cover and reinforcement). During the front corner test, the bumper initially engaged the barrier before slipping off. In addition to cover and reinforcement damage, the headlamp was crushed by the barrier backstop, the outer radiator support was bent and the fender was buckled at the wheel opening and its leading edge.
