OVERALL WEIGHTED AVERAGE DAMAGE: $1,035

TEST DETAILS: During the full front test, the Galant engaged the barrier limiting damage to the bumper system (including the grille). In the front corner test, there was no lateral engagement between the vehicle bumper and the barrier leading to a damaged headlamp and misaligned fender. There was full barrier engagement during the full rear test; however, the reinforcement was driven into the rear body panel, at its mounting flanges, resulting in damage to the body panel and rail flanges. There was no lateral engagement of the bumper system with the barrier in the rear corner test, resulting in lower body panel damage.
