Restraints and dummy kinematics

Dummy movement was reasonably well controlled. The driver's seat tipped toward the B-pillar. During rebound, the dummy's head hit the B-pillar.

Passenger — Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.

Head protection

Driver — The dummy's head was hit by the intruding barrier, producing high head injury measures.

Passenger — The dummy's head was hit by the window frame and window sill of the rear passenger door as well as the pillar behind the door. These impacts did not produce high head injury measures, but the head protection is inadequate.
