The Chevrolet Impala was reintroduced for the 2000 model year as a somewhat smaller front-wheel-drive sedan.

Injury measures

Measures taken from the head, neck, and chest indicate low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. Forces on the right tibia indicate that injury to the lower leg would be possible. Acceleration on the left foot indicates that injuries to the foot would be possible.

Restraints and dummy kinematics
